Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input. Our
servers are certified by Thawte, a public Certificate Authority, ensuring you
and the merchant that nobody can impersonate VCS to obtain confidential
information.
We store information gathered on secure computers. The number of
employees involved in the management of the data center that have physical
access to these computers is limited. We use firewalls and other security
technology to prevent our computers from being accessed by unauthorised persons
and against disclosure, alteration or destruction.
The merchant is never permitted access to the cardholder’s card
details.
It is important for merchants to protect against unauthorised access
to their Login ID and password used to access the VCS services.
VCS shall continually review and enhance its security systems in
line with technological changes.
